Our question and answer session with Ms. Smart:

Question: What’s your favorite thing to do for fun with your kids?
Answer: I like to chill at the beach and make sand castles.

Q: What do you like to do for fun without your kids?
A: Well…I like to hang out with my girlfriends, shopping or gardening but I usually end up house cleaning.

Q: Is Sheryl Crow still your favorite singer? And if so why and what’s your favorite song by her?
A: Yeah, she is. But Bon Jovi is also one of my favorites

Q: What is your favorite lab to do in science? Why?
A: The eye dissection lab. It is interesting to see who will and who won’t touch and cut the eyes. Surprisingly, most of the girls do and the guys don’t.

Q: Where is your favorite place to go camping?
A: I like camping in most places in BC because of the nice beaches etc. I like to camp with my friends, and anywhere there is power so I can have coffee in the morning.

Q: Tell us what it like growing up with two older brothers.
A: Interesting…my brothers used to roll me up in a carpet and hang gross things in my face.

Q: Do you find it easy to socialize and meet new people? If so do you have any tips?
A: I’m usually quite shy and quiet until I get to know people. I don’t have any tips, but if you have any for me it would be great.

Q: Would you ever sell any of the bracelets that you make?
A: I don’t sell my bracelets, but I give them away to my friends.

Q: What’s your favorite book? Why?
A: One of my favorite books is Blackbird by Jennifer Lauck. I like to read it to my home room class every year. Great story because it is a heartbreaking bibliography about her child hood where she over came a huge amounts of obstacles.

Ms. Smart had a few things she wanted to say:
