Mrs. Paskevich is a very athletic woman. She enjoys playing golf, lady’s volleyball, and badminton. When she was younger, Mrs. Paskevich played for the University of Calgary where she trained hard and got to travel to Poland and across Canada. Mrs. Paskevich didn’t only learn how to play volleyball but also the importance of working together as a team. She still plays volleyball with young women her age at the Talisman Center.

Mrs. Paskevich has been teaching for 24 wonderful years but she didn’t always want to be a teacher.  Surprisingly, she wanted to be a Broadway actress!  She’s always loved dancing and singing which made Broadway a perfect fit for her. However, one summer she worked with a whole bunch of kids and was just inspired because she was having so much fun seeing them having fun. Mrs. Paskevich still loves to have fun, and she brings a little of her Broadway style to everything she does.

One of Mrs. Paskevich’s favorite hobbies is traveling.  And trust us, she’s been almost everywhere.  After listening to the extensive list of places she’s been, and viewing the great photos of her in these places, we were convinced, yep, this lady loves to travel!  Some of her favorite places were Cambodia, because the people were so nice, and Egypt because there was so much neat stuff there to see.  She has also been to Vietnam, Ireland, Laos, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba, Poland and the Galapagos.  Her next adventure is sure to be a fun one, she’s heading to Jordan/Petra because of the movie Indian Jones.

One of the many things Mrs. Paskevich is known for around Crowther is her involvement in the annual Eastern Canada Trip for the Gr. 9’s.  It’s easy to see why she loves this trip so much.  Her passion for travel is combined with her love for having fun.  Even after all these years of doing the trip she says that she enjoys going because every group is different and it’s really a privilege to do it
