Mr. Neaves has worked at Crowther for seventeen years, but it wasn’t always his big dream. He once applied to become a police officer because he liked the idea of helping people.  So it’s not a big stretch to see him now spending his days helping students.  The only thing that he doesn’t like about being a teacher is dealing with all the negative behavior from his students.

According to his children, Brett and Mathew, he likes to watch television in his spare time. He says he likes to play lots of sports like golf. His highest score was a 78. Wow, Mr. Neaves, impressive.

His favorite place that he ever traveled to was Australia because of the nice weather and extremely beautiful beaches.  Imagine they have some pretty nice golf courses too!

I am sure that Mr.Neaves is pretty happy to actually have a class room this year.  Although we all know that he could never give up on his trolley. Which, by the way, everyone will be glad to hear, is still getting some use when he has to teach outside of his classroom.

Mr. Neaves is a really fantastic Math teacher. There was not one student who didn’t like him as their teacher. He is one of those teachers you miss when you move on to the next grade.  His easygoing attitude and light sense of humor make him on of the coolest teachers we have here at our school.
