Interview By: Spencer Rideout, Article by: Timothy Hopwood 9E Journalism

Mr.Besler, one of many science teachers at our school, loves what he does. He likes science, and he likes teaching kids. When asked what his dream job would be, he said,
“I’d like to continue teaching, because it’s really fun to do.”
I think he’s pretty devoted, don’t you?
But teaching science isn’t all he does, or all he ever did. When he was younger, he used to go out on police calls with his dad.
I think it’d be fun to go with him now, but unfortunately, he’s not around anymore.”
He watches some T.V. sometimes too. His favorite actor?
“Don Fiffe”
Why’s that?
“Well, because no one else compares to him.”
And the most obvious question on my list brought the most unexpected answer. The question, if he had one wish, what would it be?
“I would probably make it so there wasn’t any disease on the entire planet.”
Now why would he do that? Instead of giving himself money or something?
“Because disease is terrible, it makes people’s lives miserable. It’s just a harsh fact of life.”
That’s pretty great, if you ask me.

Well there you go, an interview of Mr. Randy Besler. Next time you’re in his class, ask him abut Don Fiffe, if you don’t know who he is. Because I’m sure Mr. Besler will tell you.
