Mrs. Habing is working at CMJHS for the first time this year, and I got the chance to interview her. After she got her students started on their projects we started to talk.

My first question was: What is your favorite childhood memory?  After a few minutes of thinking she said, “Its gunna have to be, Motor biking with my brothers”
I then asked her: Why did you start teaching? She laughed and said,
I like kids, and the goofy things they do.

I then went to the question: What are your favorite sports?
“I like hockey and lacrosse” I then asked why and her reply was:
“I like the intensity, or the violence, both I think”.

I read the next question: What type of music do you like, and why?
“I like dance music, because you can, well, dance to it! My boys hate it when I start dancing while their friends are around” she answered while showing me some of her moves.

What motivates you?
She answered this with one word, no hesitation:
“Happiness” I then asked:

Who is your hero? After a few seconds of thinking she said:
“My Dad is my hero”

Then on a different subject I asked her: Where have you traveled to?
“I have traveled all over Canada, along the USA/Canada border, just got back from Las Vegas, and the Bahamas!” I then asked her where she went to school

“The same place as Ms. Smart” she then saw the blank look on my face and laughed.
“Waskada, Manitoba” Then I thought of a question, out of the blue, what is your biggest fear? She shivered as she answered,
“Spiders” But then on a happier note I asked, where do you want to be 10 years from now? She laughed and said
“Living on a beach somewhere” Then it was the end. She seemed surprised that it was over so quickly.
