Mrs. Chiasson has been teaching at our wonderful and dandy school for 6 glorious years. When she’s not here, she enjoys traveling. She has traveled to places like Montana in the USA. But her favorite place to go would have to be, Saskatchewan! We then asked her what her favorite time of the year was. She said winter, she loves the winter, and mostly the snow, and she also sometimes skis.
Her favorite food is donairs, not donuts, as some may very well get them mixed up. She loves donairs. She has 2 daughters, Laiken, and Kennedy. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her two kids. She also enjoys hunting for hidden treasures in a second hand book store. She’s an avid reader and just can’t resist buying the old banged up books she finds when she goes digging for them.
Although Mrs. Chiasson loves her job her, we asked her to imagine a different dream job. She told us it would involve traveling around the world and while she was visiting another country she would love to taste the different foods it had to offer.
We may not be able to offer her food, but our school is giving her a taste of what traveling the world might be like. What most students don’t know is that Mrs. Chiasson is now helping our exchange students with English as a Second Language (ESL). What she loves about teaching ESL is learning about the kids’ cultures and languages. Mrs. Chiasson loves to learn different languages, since she has a very diverse linguistic background herself. |
