Have you ever thought, I would really like a pair of shoes like that, but then realized how much they cost. Many people would like to be able to dress like the movie stars in high and expensive clothing & shoes, but not everyone can afford that. If you think about it, you could just go bargain shopping and buy clothes and shoes that look like the Name brand you want to buy. Or if you really want, say a TNA hoodie, you could save up enough money to buy one just for you. But then think, is it worth it to buy 1 TNA hoodie for say $100 or like 3 or 4 Wal-mart hoodies for the same price that look similar to a TNA hoodie.
Another subject to talk about is how people who have a lot of money and can afford expensive clothing, make fun of people who DON’T have a lot of money and CAN’T afford expensive clothing. This is the main reasoning behind schools wanting to get uniforms for the students to wear. On my part, I think that would be a great idea, only because kids sometimes get bullied for the clothing they wear, or get teased. So by having uniforms, if they tried to make fun of some kid for what they are wearing, they are pretty much making fun of them selves and what they are wearing. Plus, school uniforms would be great for making the school look a lot classier and elegant.
But there are also bad things about having school uniforms.
- It would cancel out individuality, and the freedom of having the choice of what you want to wear and make it your style.
- Some kids might drop out, only because they don’t get to wear what they like to, and feel totally comfortable in.
