How to Get a Boyfriend

How do you know if they like you? How do you know if they want to date you? How do you act around them? How could you drop the hint that you like them? At this age you have so many unanswered questions and this article will help answer a few of those tough ones.

First you have to know what kind of guy you want. Do you want him to be funny, pretty, smart, or mysterious? You can’t go to a grocery store and not know what you want to get so before you go out “boy hunting” make sure you know what you are looking for. Join a few clubs that you think that you would enjoy and then maybe you will meet a guy there and then you guys will have something in common, something to talk about. If you have gone out boy hunting and can’t find any one maybe that perfect guy is right there. Get to know all your guy friends maybe you will find that perfect one.

Now if you have found that perfect guy and don’t know if he likes you or if he even knows who you are, you need to be sure of that, so make sure they notice you.  Say hello to them and introduce yourself. Make sure you are yourself; there is nothing more unattractive to a guy than when they know you’re not being yourself. Resist the urge to be someone you’re not. If the guy doesn’t like you for who you are, that’s his problem. You shouldn’t change just to please the guy you like. Make sure you are not too much for them. Don’t always try to talk to them; don’t let them think that they are your whole world. Leave a little mystery about yourself.  But when you are walking down the halls and you see him, smile and give him a wave. Become his friend first, so then he will trust you. After a while drop the hint that you like him, don’t be too subtle, but not too obvious. Sometimes boys can be a little dense when it comes to this kind of stuff. Make sure you don’t become annoying.  It’s really hard to tell if the boy likes you or not. Guys can be really confusing but you mostly just have to follow your heart. If you find he is always saying we should hang out and stuff all the time that is usually a good sign. Flirting is also a good sign, but not all the time. Sometimes guys will flirt just to be nice but most of the time it’s cause they like you.

            After introducing yourself you want to get to know him. So ask him out casually, like for example “Do you want to come to the movies with me and a bunch of friends?” You want to be sure that you like him before you go nuts trying to get his attention. If you hang out with him and stuff and get to know his personality and realize that you don’t really like him well, no harm done. If you think that wow you might really like this guy and want to date him, ask him out. You should ask casually like at first you could hang out with a bunch of people, than you could ask him if he just wanted to hang like just the two of you. If you want to be up front just ask him” Will you go out with me,” but it’s always romantic to hang out before you date him. Being shy is always a big problem. If you really like this guy but you are too shy to ask him out then just drop a lot of hints like flirt with him a lot and ask him to hang out lots. Don’t flirt with him 24/7 because it may seem like the guys like it but not all of them really like it. Be friendly but not overly friendly, talk to him but not everyday. Show him that he isn’t your whole world; show him that you have other guy friends. Make him a little jealous because then he will see that you are the only one that he wants!

            Finding a boyfriend can be a difficult task but all that hard work does pay off when you find that perfect boy. You just have to remember to follow your heart and not to do anything you are not ready for. Love is always a confusing game!
