In September 2008, the students of Crowther Memorial raised just over $9400 dollars.

Michaela Macdonald from 8A was the highest earner and won a Terry Fox T-shirt.

The draw for all students raising $50 or more was held on Monday, Sept. 22, 2008 - Dryden Pinkerton won $50 from Ripperz (downtown Strathmore), Cassy McCaw won $25 and Michaela MacDonald won $25. These were purchased through the student activity account.

First place in the race went to Damian Anderson (Grade 9)
Second place in the race was Colton Starker (Grade 7)
Third place in the race was David Kuljanin (Grade 8)

...but of course Mr. Ericksteen, the pace-setter crossed the finish line just steps ahead of Damian.
